Our 2013 Coincidence season kicks off with a haunting Edgar Allen Poe/Philip Glass Mashup! The event includes excerpts from Glass' opera "Fall of the House of Usher," a 1915 silent documentary by Charles Brabin about Poe's tragically short life, and a dramatic reading of classic Poe horror stories. Both the film and the readings are set to live performances of Glass' music for solo performance. There's no better way to prepare for Long Beach season opener "The Fall of the House of Usher" than with this macabre matinee!
